I've been grinding Carbineer for 2 1/2 weeks and have made very little progress (4003). I read the FAQ and it didn't really help that much. I talked to my guildies and they said just to find the fastest Carbine I could get and slice it and put speed powerups on it and just kill all. So I've been on Endor and doing just that. How the hell can I get it done faster?

1) Get a good Ubese armor.
2) Get buffed
3) Use a speedsliced Laser carbine.Have DXR6 and EE3 as backup.
4) Travel to the adventure planets.
Speed kills. Try to level the speed branch first, then accurcy. Use FullSingleAuto2 as your main attack special. Try everything that moves.
Most people suggests Quenkers on Dantooine as the main prey for leveling.

Hmm... Argh, OK, Klikniks. Go to the Kliknik temple on Yavin.... There you will find your XP. Just please don't tell anyone.
Why? Simple reason - find creatures that do ranged attacks. Klikniks in the temple all do ranged attacks. With this, you can just do area shot 2 or burst shot 2 if you have it - it's much better. The only problem is, slow respawn timers. A really fun way to get XP is to go to rebel bases and just rip apart everyone there with area shots. Not only do you get good FP and loot, but it's not bad XP either. Try to find a place with 4 or 5 bases close to each other. Prepare to test your PvP skill as I've found that rebels tend to check up on these bases often. I am assuming you are imperial because you aren't a combat medic, if I'm wrong though, then I don't suggest trying it on imperial bases due to ATSTs.

As has been suggested, get the Bounty Hunter line first for the speed.
Get into a large solo group on Dantooine. (This is important, because you want6 or so Relic Reapers/Huurton Stalkers per spawn)
Bring a TKA buddy, and tell him to Spin Attack 1 on the lair unarmed (no VKs)
Select the lair itself, andspam FullAutoArea2
If done correctly,(you may have to peace out to keep from decimating the lair too fast) you can get almost 70,000 XP a lair, and it takes about2-3minutes to take the lair down. If both you and your friend are taking missions, you can rake in 280,000 XP a run.
The hardest part about leveling this way is capping too fast and finding trainers.

Well I can answer this, I just dropped carbineer and all of BH for a week to try commando/CM for hunting krayts, and am currently regrinding carbineer. I picked up BH 0300 first and am capping 900k xp in one buff session (with time to spare). I just start walking any direction away from the smuggler outpost on endor and kill every thing that I see. (of course it doesn't hurt that I have the benifit of some speed sliced krayt carbines

Well in two days I got 0001 in carbineer and 0400 in BH just doing Quenker missions. I did the BH tree first since it adds both speed and accuracy quicker than any tree in carbineer.

From what little experience I've had with Carbine I can tell you a few things for sure:
Get buffed.
Get a DXR-6 or Nym's slug thrower. These do acid damage, and creatures from most missions have little or no resists to acid. Try to find one with good damage and a speed slice.
I've also noticed that Elite Carbines are not to be passed over too quickly. At first glance, they generally do not have much better damage than other carbines, nor do they have much better speed. But if you look at the modifiers for various ranges, they seem to be a cut above most carbines. So not a bad carbine to have around, afterall, a weapon that hits more is often better than a weapon that is faster or morepowerful that hits less.
Just my two cents, fromwhat I've observed. I'm currently 0 1 2 1, and having a blast!

i just got buffed and got some ubese armor and go to dant and grab some huurton huntress missions. you will get roughly 50k xp a mission and 8k cr. use either a nice speed sliced laser carbine or do nym's quest for the nice slugthrower. i grinded master carbineer in 1 and a half days. then i got the bh carbines 4 in less thenaday.

the beetle caves on tat are possibly one of the best places since the hermit quest was activated. no point in going there to get the altruism badge, spawns are very slow, but the sennex guards in there can give anything from 400 to 5k xp per kill (when grouped) and they spawn fast.
I'd recommend getting some good armour and buffs and then just kill everything inside that moves. my current record is around 800k xp in just under two hours.
shame i can't remember the wp

Bingo, and the wp can be found by going to Mos Entha and talking to the guy behind the starport.

Your big problem right now is that you are 4001. You have some speed but you have zero accuracy. If you check your logs, you are likely missing a great deal of the time.
Level the marksman tree (0X00) ASAP. You will find that you start hitting more, meaning you do more damage and thus levelmuch faster.
All the other suggestions about using speed sliced weapons are valid as well.

Buy lots and lots of Citros Snow cake for accuracy. It has increased my grinding abilities a lot.

Accuracy is a thing you need to have as carb, speed can be obtained with the speed powerups and you will easily get a 3.x speed with speed powerup on your weapon. First you should go for 0300 for the definite carbineer shot : crippling. If you got the spare points to go bh too then DO IT. Carbs without bh isnt worth anything in pvp anyways so just go bh after carbs 0300 and level up the bh tree. With that you will be shooting at speedcap and also having excellent accuracy to get the rest of carbineer skills with ease. You also need to make sure to switch from speed powerups to min/max dmg powerups after you completed the bh carbine tree. At that point you will most likely be shooting at speed cap anyways so now dmg will be better than speed upgrades.
Just spamm crippling all the time with some randomly used fullautosingle2 to get states like stun and blind on the mobs and you will have a nice AND SHORT time with leveling carbs
