Is it really worth while taking the abilites line ? I mean as a BH I already get 2 KD specials, one which has a chance to dizzy.

Is it worth investing the points ?

well... Area Shot 2 can dizzy stun and blind. Charge shot 2 can knockdown multiple opponents. Do it right and you can get 3 PvP targets on the ground and then just spam Burst Shot 2 for damage. However, honestly, it's not really that necessary unless you plan on PvPing in big groups where you'll be well protected. If you plan on going solo, invest the skill points in to getting defenses.

Carbines have area KD's which are great for PvE, very hit or miss in PvP. Very rarely will a PvP ChargeShot2 drop more than one person. What it will possibly do is drop someone not in the direct line of fire, catching them offguard.

Bounty Hunters have KDs that are geared towards effectively dropping a single target. Kinda meh in PvE, because you're usually using it against a group of mobs you're trying to keep off of you. Fair to middlin' in PvP, because stackers can resist it moderately well.

Carbineers have multiple target capability, Bounty Hunters have reliability. Different shots with different roles.

The BH kd's are more effective, the carbineer kd's do not stick very often in pvp.
