Crippleing shot is more powerful than scatter but hit one randomly targeted pool, scatter will be found to hit mind moreso which is the beall and endall of most pvp.

That's not correct. They both have the same damage modifier and same delay modifier. I suggest you both go read the FAQ. The biggest difference between the 2 shots is how they delegate damage across a target's HAM. Crippling Shot will always land 80% of it's damage to one pool, and 10% to the other two, whereas Scatter Shot has that potential, but also can delegate in other percentages, such as 33/33/33. The exact ways Scatter Shot delegates damage is still up in the air, as the devs will not divulge that information. As for PvP, and the ever so important mind pool, my experience is that Crippling Shot will hit mind a lot harder, but less often, where as Scatter Shot hits it more often, but with less damage each time.

actually it is correct and u just proved it. 100 damage to one pool or 33 to all pools, the 100 damage is more powerful is it not?

Which means that on average, over time, they'll do the same damage.

I have been doing a lot of PvP lately. I switched from CRIPPLE to SCATTER.

My Master Carb PvP techniques

Technique 1:

Fullauto2 (until I see dizzy)

ChargeShot1

ActionShot2

Technique 2:

Spamming Scattershot

I get some sudden mind hits. We took down a jedi with me spamming scatter while a fencer work his mind pool and kept him tied up.

they have about the same damage, but scatter can be more efficient in some cases.

I usually try both when I start to fight. then usually switch to crippling so i can "focus" even tho it's random pool, on health pool.

My point is that they will do the SAME amount of damage. The diference is in the way the damage is delegated across the 3 pools. And you can never get 100% damage to one pool, the most you can do (even with a pool specific attack) is 80%/10%/10%.
