Thread: A coming back to carbines after a long time question
The question is...I'm sure it has been asked/answered many times before, but I could find it:
Is Master Bounty Hunter useful to carbineers? or would I be better off spending the 43 skill points somewhere else?
I guess I'm asking is Fast Blast worth it?
Cheers

well, spray shot is the carbine special forMBh, its only advisable to get MBH, if, you cant afford skill attachment items, clothing attachments, that add to carbine speed, if you can afford those, you should probably save skill points and get more defence, such as defence vs states, and ranged and melee.if you can get +25 carbine speed, from SEAs, and have force senstive ranged speed, you'll cap carbine speed easily, but without the SEAs, you wontyou'd need master bh, which would take you way over the speed cap
which isnt nessaryon the other hand, getting master bh has great offensive capabilities, but no defence, spray shot is good damage and dizzy, stun, and blinds, good for keeping some one knocked down, and from riflemen getting those headshots when theyre running around
Hold on though MCarbineer/BH 0400 has +115 carbine speed, so is speed capped (there is no speed benifit at MBH - or is my character builder totally buggered?), so the only benifit of MBH over BH 0400 is spray shot (and the +10 accuracry, pushing it up to +200).

That's correct. As a M. Carbineer/BH 0400, you needn't worry about Speed or even Accuracy. Personally, I find MBH/M. Carbs to be complete overkill, UNLESS you have some crazy DoT Pistols or some legendary DoT LLC and want to hunt low-level Jedi.
You'd be much better suited in spending the extra SP elsewhere, be it in Pistoleer 0040 for defenses, Medic, Brawler, etc.

I have sprayshot people for 900 ish damage wise and landed all the states. Not too many other professions have a move that can do that.
I did mean Spray Shot - damned bugged character builder - had the text for the two of them round the wrong way
