Other thatn the Jump to light speed add on. What has changed in the last 4 months. From what I can see the much hyped Combat rebalance schedualed for Aug never happened.
Has anything changed, in the Carbineer world.

Actually i can't remember *any* change for carbineers since publish 7 (march?)... the state of the profession seems to be even worse than it was 4 months ago because everyone has better equipement now (psg, 80 - 90% base composite, foods).

In the past 4 months not much has changed in the way the of the ground game. We can know buy imperial hats from the recruiters though
But like you said the major focus was JtL for about the last 4 months, with the Combat Upgrade on the horizon for the next few months.

Yes we can buy imperial hats...But I still cant wear them....I can earn the imperial/rebel/neutral pilot helmet but still cant wear it.
as for combat, the only way to win against defence stackers is to use DoTs unless its a no armor fight, jedi still get scholled
there have been about 3 new pistols, 3 new rifles, 3 new swords...whats a carbine? ![]()

Jedi.
Lots and lots of Jedi.
They make being a Carbineer... "fun".

Alot has changed. But not because of changes to our profession, but rather to the changes that have occured around us. Better armor, wide use of foods and buffs and wide appearence of Jedi has made things much more diffcult. We carbineers have had to adapt our tactics and support skills to remain competitive. But that's one of the things that makes the carbineer profession so appealing and rewarding.

Well I don't know exactly when it happened but I remember (before I got to carbine) my guild leader was a carbineer and he was loving it because Chargeshot1/2 were both broken. The KD reset timer didn't apply to those shots, so you could spam them and abuse KD like you could in the old days of ppl pistol whipping each other to death. But its been fixed, and I can't think of anything else thats been fixed with carbineer.

oh, ok .... didn't know on when it happend, that was just the only thing I knew of that had changed with carbineer....
funny isn't it... how if something is broken that gives an extreme advantage to a profession they are pretty quick to fix it
but
if a profession is seriously underadvantaged, they will do nothing to at least give them a temporary boost
*cough* pikeman *cough*

It's one of the best PvP templates out there, andis also pretty good in PvE Granted, it takes millions in DoT lances and attachments to succeed.. but with a bit of time and effort, they easily becoming the dominating class out there.
