CM is more effective in PvP than PvE for sure.....

Actually, im thinking about the same template....

But without using poison / disease.

This is something i have long thought about as well. But i wouldn't so much avoid the skills, but i would attempt not to become a DOT-Whore with them. I couldn't find agood Carbineer with CM dabbling template. So Master Combat Medic is whati would do. AoE Heals and Mind Heals are both really interesting. Would make a great addition to a PvE group doing high end content. If i ever get around to unlocking my second FS-character slot and i can throw my AS on my newly unlocked alt this is the template i would go for with my alt.

I tried it out for a bit, and a guildie of mine is picking it up as a support template (as we need another CM.)

As it stands, it's got very little defenses, which means that when you get hit, you'll get hit hard, especially by melee templates. You're also knocked-down easily, so eating Thakatillo is a must, as well as Dizzy food.

You of course need Carbine Speed attachments, and accuracy ones if you truly want to shine. The standard 85%+ effectiveness armor is pretty much required as well, because you'll need it - no melee mitigation means that you'll go down fast.

It's a real support profession if you ask me. The benefits of course include Poison-stacking (oh how we love our Combat Medics, heh), area Stim heals and Mind Heals.

Throw in a couple of great DoT Carbines and you're basically a real DoT-wh*re. Essentially, PvP would include simply getting in, stacking your poisons, and then using FullAutoArea2, ActionShot2 and ChargeShot2 as much as possible.. throwing a few mind heals and area heals, rinsing and repeating.

As much as the Developers like to think they've balanced things out, Combat Medics remain as one of the top PvP combat classes. I frequently get hit with 600+ tick poisons, and even with Janta-enhanced resist buffs, these things will make quick work of many PvPers.

I already have a carbine defence stacker, so that choice was easy. I was also considering going Carb/Doc. But since my PA has lots of docs and no CM's figured i would try and plug the hole.

Carb-Doc or Carb-CM is what i was just deciding as well (was leaning towards doc but...). Post back here and tell us what you've thought of it after a week or so?
