Thread: Template: unbuffed CH/Master Carbineer or CH/Carb/BH

hello,
i hope i dont annoy you with another template question. but i really couldnt find an answer to this one...
id like to fight unbuffed, unarmored, with pets only(and carbines), migrate the stats mostly into health and mind secondaries and pop accaragm because of the high action costs. also i dont do PvP. i have fun killing critters and harvesting for some bucks.
i have made the decision that Master CH and Novice Medic is necessary there's no way round those two. im left with 129 skillpoints for a combat profession. i thought id pick carbines because it sounds like fun.
i have come up with the following templates...
1) MCH/Medic 4340/Master Carbines (Healing my pets with D-stims)
2) MCH/Novice Medic/Carbines 0403/BH 0400 ( +85 speed mod = 1.5 or lower speed for every special if i use a carbine below 4.2, BH specials)
honestly i have no clue about carbineer, so if any other template is better please tell me(MCH and nov. medic is a must)
if you think im totally wrong using carbines please tell me too. pistols sound fun too but id rather do carbines. i have read threads about damage comparison and such. also reading the faq on top didnt help me with my decision (although they are great)

I have often been in a similar situation, because i couldn't drop armorsmith but needed a viable carbine template... i think for everyone who doesn't have any skill enhancing attachments the bounty hunter combination is best... with bh 0400 / carbineer 0403 i was even quite effective in pvp.
If you only do pve, i'd recommand you to go 0304 carbineer and 0400 bh... the accuracy isn't as important in pve as chargeshot2.

I am almost back to Master CH and Medic 3440 to go with Master Carbineer on my PvE toon. But I have clothes with +25 Carbine Speed now so I really have no need to even think about BH. Since you have no desire to PvP and will be using your pets as tanks, I am not sure BH is necessary.....but FullAutoArea2 and BurstShot2 are if you don't master Carbineer.
Personally I used Pet Stims and Stim B's just fine with my pets, so the Medic is really optional in my mind.
I have been a Carbineer/CH for about a year now and I have TONS of info if you want to ask here or in-game

thanks for the replies. i think i will become Carbineer 0304/BH 0400 at least until i have some money to get some speed CAs.
