Drop a 33% max powerup on it to bring it to around 500 and you're set.
Could have gotten a better slice, but it's pretty sweet.

Not too shabby. The best part about the DXR6 is the high min damage. Use it against ranged mitigated opponents. Stick with the laser for melee punks

yeah, a pretty good carbine, but keep yourself buffed to the teeth cos that's some serious HAM costs hehe.

By the way (and I know I'll just get linked to the FAQ for this one despite not finding it in there) is it normal for a krayted weapon to lose some of it's power after a repair? My laser carbine went from 485 to 465 and I'm just wondering if that's normal. If it is I'm going to need a new carbine...

It is normal for any weapon/armor to have reduced effectiveness/power after a repair.....nothing special about it being a Carbine or a Krayt Weapon so it isn't an issue for the FAQ

Weird, I've never had that happen before... Hmm.

Are you sure Firehawk?
Never happened to an armor piece i repaired... and well... i repair many armors...
Absolutely certain on the weapon part and about 75% certain on the armor reduction. I have some armor and weapons that lost effectiveness and damage respectively just from bad repairs or repairs done around 25% remaining condition. I think the occurances are rare but I have seen it in my own equipment on a couple Carbines....can't specifically remember a piece of armor but I bet the code is in there.
BTW, this is not an official statement, just my playing experience.....I don't know of a Dev ever saying this or telling us Corrs about this either ![]()

"Minor blemish" are really the ones that reduce armor or weapons by a few points, but they do reduce them. Since such repairs are rare, however, the standard "Repair but max condition has been reduced", even with a 99.99999% tool, does result in significant durability loss.
Ihave aJedi-guildie usea +25 Repair 'suit' and I consistantly lose a lot of condition on weapon/armor repairs. For armor it's easily 5k condition vanishing in a single repair, and at the rate at which I go through PvE composite, a Chest plate lasts me maybe 4-5 buff sessions, at the most.
Weapons do degrade over time. A guildmate of mine was lucky that his uber 1000 max damage Tenloss underwent 12 subsequent repairs before it was down to 30/30 condition. Most were minor blemishes, but the other standard repairs did result in considerable condition loss.
