Hey

As a bh I need some very good quality carbines to improve my chances of killing higher level marks.

What I'd like is some advice on how and which components I can find for my weaponsmith. What I'm looking for is mainly damage since I'm speedcapped. I have krayt tissue, found something on a vendor called gorax bone splinters... what can I get in addition to these components and where do I find it?

I don't think those gorax bone splinters will help but I haven't gotten any yet to see what they are for, but the main 3 optional components are Krayt Tissue, Stocks, and Scopes. I suggest getting the Stock made by the WS experimented for damage with no regard to HAM or Speed. The Scope (advanced actually) should be experimented for Ideal Range with no regard for HAM or Speed either.

So it sounds to me like you have everything you need.....a "regular" Carbineer who is worried about Speed gets Imp Theme Park Stocks that are -0.5 Speed, but the rest is the same.

I believe gorax bone splinters are used in a projectile feed mechanism the same way kryat tissues are used in a power handler. I also pretty sure that weapons either take a feed mechanism -OR- a power handler but not both. So your bone splinters really aren't going to be of use for a carbine, unless one of those newly announced carbines will end up using feed mechanisms, which atm is anyone's guess.

And i find when looking for weapons, it is not so much the construction, as most if not all smiths that would be looking to put this together, know exactly how to utilize their points when crafting. What you should be more concerned about you is going to get it sliced. Since slicing is pretty much up in the air as to what you get, you really have no control. So the best strategy would be to get a set of 10 or more tissues and have several laser carbines crafted. That way you have 3 times the chance of getting a good slice. Because in most cases, a regular factory run carbine with a good slice will outperform a custom kryat carbine 9 times out of ten.
