Thread: Usefule PvP macro
This is the macro that I currently have bound to my tab key. I use this macro for kiting group and it helps immensly I hope others get as much use from it as I do. It is also helpfull to bind the normal target (cycletargetoutward) to another key. I use CTRL-TAB for this.
/ui action clearCombatQueue # Obviously it clears the combat Queue. I don't want to have to manually clear my Queue before I can start killing the closest person
/ui action untarget # This de-selects the current target. This need to be here before you can target the closest player in your field of view
/ui action cycleTargetOutward # Targets the closest player in your field of view.
A perfect example of how to use this macro is in running for life. Anytime someone gets to close use this macro and Chargeshot them. Then keep on running.
w/ the thread name i was all ready to come in and point out how no macro can handle situations well enough to be truly effective in PVP...that there are way too many variables and you're better off by doing what works best for the situation...
but...this macro looks quite nice, 1 button to re-target the closest would be a welcome button indeed. thanks.
