I really am having a hard time finding any. I didn't start looking for them until December but am not haveing any luck. I have been to the "oh so camped" caves, no luck.
Where have you guys been finding your Carbine Skill Tapes/Armor Attachments?

Firehawk is right, since the places were these are dropped are so over camped, and usually by people with outside third party programs, that trying to loot them yourselves is no simple task. The good news is however, Carbine Tapes usually get tossed into the "uggh no one will want this crap" pile and auctioned off for really good prices. I bought a +8 carbine speed tape for 50K on our boards. To bad it was an armour attachment though

really? that last tape i saw go that high was a +18 Polearm speed tape. Maybe we just have more ninja looters on our server, just camping the bat caves in hopes of one day finding that uber weapon exprimentation tape that they can gouge some poor WS several million credits just to be able to compete
that is the only reason i want player bounties, so you can hire people to "remove" those players.

is buying SEAs with less than +5 even worth it?
Absolutely worth it, with a Comp Suit you got 9 pieces to get to the +25 cap; so all +3's would more than fill it. I have 2 or 3 +5 Carbine Speed attachments and the rest are lower. I buy the +1 Carbine Speed ones even.
Don't ever compare prices from one server to another, especially Chilastra. Our economy is severely borked from the HUGE number of exploiters. Although I didn't mind taking their money in my Architect Business ![]()

Correct me if I'm wrong (haven't played in 3-4 months) but I remember you could put armor attachments in an Ubese Shirt. This always seemed ideal to me, since it didn't list a durability, and could be worn under all armors. Also, there is a Mabari Belt. Not sure if the belt can have sockets though. Did this change at all?

ubese shirt, ubese bandolier, mabari belt.
all armor pieces (can take Armor Attachments). all have no encumberence. all have no condition (never decay).
