Thread: CrippleShot vs. SingleAutoShot2

I hear people talking about CrippleShot and how it is so high damage. In all my uses of it I found that I can get the same if not more damage out of my AutoShot2, and AutoShot2 is much faster.
What am I missing?

Crippling Shot has a higher damage modifier but due to the terrible speed of it, I don't utilize it a lot because it's a random pool shot. A lot of people havea hard time seeing the difference sometimes using something with a high spread between max and min damage like a laser carbine, especially in PvP where ranged mitigation hurts the laser carbine greatly. Where I use crippling shot in PvE is on lairs where it only has a base set of HP's.

Those people talking about CrippleShot like that have never done or looked at the math......FAS2 is about 8% more DPS and BurstShot1 is identical with less HAM cost. And considering how much easier those two are to get, 0010 Carbineer, they are the RIGHT choice for leveling.
