Thread: Carbineer with fencer/tka defense..

Hi!

I am new to this forum, and i have a question about Carbineer.

The fencer/tka defense does that work when you are shooting with your carbineer?, cause it says melee defense, and so far i know carbineer isnt melee.. or?..

melee & ranged defense are defenses against melee & ranged attacks...has nothing to do w/ the profession you're utilizing.


that being said...melee/ranged defenses stack up to +125 (the cap)...and function even if you're holding a slitherhorn. the def vs. xxxx mods also stack accordingly (up to +125). dodge/block/counterattack do not stack unless you're using the profession that yields the mod (pistol/fencer for dodge, rifle/pike for block, sword/carb for counterattack).


using fencer or tka to stack defenses is a VERY useful way of filling in one of carbineer's major weaknesses, since our defenses are nothing compared to pistol or rifle.
