I have a Lazer Carbin with 585 max dmg. but when i am pvp'ing i only take 100 health away but while i am out huntin i can take 3k off health can i get some help on tatics to use while pvp'ing??? ( i cant kill a fly while pvp'ing lol )

In PvP you have a 75% damage reduction, then armor, and on top of those any ranged defense mods the person you're fighting must have. And don't forget buffs make fights take ridiculously amounts of time to finish. I don't PvP much because of this so I couldn't really give you any tips on it.

Yes, besides the 75% dmg reduction in pvp, buffs, armor and psg's there is dmg mitigation. The wide spread between min and max dmg on a laser hurts with dmg mit. Though I still use mine more often in pvp than any other carb and do ok.If you use cripple shot you will do more than 100 dmg.

I would recommend going up the Rifleman Tree, I had been a loyal carbineer from day opening day of SWG, however if you want to PvP with any kind of effectiveness drop carbineer all together. Perhaps someday it will become viable in PvP but with dev's attention focused on the Jedi/ JTL/ GCW issues I doubt if anything will be coming for carbineers.

(and no I havent sold all my carbineer stuff)
