1) There is no PvP decay, it even tells you so when you clone, unless you get triple incapped.
2) Might I suggest SOCOM II? Alot of consideration has been taken in that game regarding the dynamics of the gun.
3) RPG entails primaraly fantisy, many rules need not apply.
4) Taking you conversation out of one thread to duplicate it in another isnot necissary.

Uh oh SOE may just run out of server space for one more thread.
Socom 2 is a laggy mess and PS2 breaks after having it for a year, so not an option, the only reason i play this game is for the star wars aspect. Doesn;t feel like star wars to me to get owned every day by a guy with a stick.
Yes i could level fencer and tkm in a couple of weeks, but i want to stay carbineer to be different.
Hopefully the new guns will help, im just sick of ppl telling me to drop carbines bc its useless, ok.

From my PVP experiences, a laser carbine can do quite well against a meleer

Dang, I was about to post on the TK forums that I was tired of whiny carbineeners crying that they dont do enough damage and that they need more damage types...but I guess I can just nix that....
If you play this game for its realism then you must be playing on some wierd whacked out server where no one buffs, or wears armor, or /holoemotes...anyway just play it for the rich story and the engaging experience...then pray the combat balance does keep melee folks around because this is a game based on balance where any person should have a chance against any other person regardless of "twitch" talent...save that for the space expansion.
