Looking over my beloved star wars guide to weapons and technology, i found 2 weapons a jedi cannot negate with his saber.

1) Heavy ordinance (grenades, blaster artillery (im talkin planetary cannons.) rocket launchers, etc

2) SSi-ruuvi paddle beamers

We need a ssi-ruuvi paddle beamer. it is a stun weapon that can incap a humanoid safely from 10 meters away. Its ion beam bends around a lightsaber blade. Just a thought, would be a great weapon to see carbineers get, and couple this with bh and you have jedi population control.

On another note, when i used to gcw pvvp aabout 5 months ago, the big wqeapon on campus was the rocket launcher. I havent seen these used i na while, i just remember being in comp and gettin g one shot killed. Have thyey been nerfed?

Can jedi block them?

Believe it or not that net gun is the stokhli spray stick, the same one that rifleman can use. One of the only weapons misrepresented by the swg design team.

Id still reLly like to know if jedi can block rockets in swg.

As I understand rockets and the flamethrower are blockable.

Yup and unfortunately its turned into "Devs gone Wild" but a weird MMO instead a video with nekkid chic's all over it.

The paddle beamer doesn show up till waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay later in the timeline. Heck thats not even close to this time line.

The spraystick is the net gun you were talking about. It was also supposed to be a meter long tube that fired a tangle mesh containing drugs that inhibited the target. I still get "IS THAT A LIGHTSABER" tells if I have mine equipted.

Make a scatter carbine and make it bypass lightsabers like it should. Either that or make the E-11 have a "stun" feature that can bypass the lightsaber. There is an example ofa stun bolt bypassing a lightsaber and incapping the Jediin the EU.

Oooh! I want to add this: Tusken Rifles being Energy based in SWG, despite the evidence in Ep.I... and yes, I know the dev reason for it.

Out of curiosity, for the less informed among us, what is the reason it is energy and not kinetic?

Kinetic Damage is for Melee only.....just like Blast is for Commando only.....well this is almost true. I have no idea why they don't take Blast away from Swordsman, but I have a feeling they will

BTW, Stun is very weak and thus we have asked for Electricity and Cold as extra damage types, since that is all that is left.

stun = lame for this class,

We are artist with out skillz we dontdepend on button mashing we depend on states.. thats one of the coolest things about carbineers... when you give us stun you just make us identical to all the other ranged classes. Cold and Electricity will be cool damg types for sure.

OK, TA you are right, the beamer is after the battle of endor by about 5 years, but we didnt exactly have 1000s of jedi running around in the movies either, so the timeline is already screwed up. One weapon anachronism wont do too much more damage.

Secondly, the only reason it should be stun is because it is obviously a stun weapon. I want it to be a special lightsaber avoiding weapon, not for general pvp.

I would much rather have electricity, its true, so maybe it could take that dmg type.

I didn't say anything about timeline.....my point was this is a GAME and adjustments must be made to keep everything FUN.....

Sure wish SOE would figure out that last part....FUN....instead of bleeding everybody's credit cards......uh oh, there I go again being realistic/pessimistic
