Thread: Does a master carb have a KD/Dizzy?

Have they said it will be fixed at some point?

And Dizzy is being nerfed. Read the patch message. They are making it so when a mob attempts to get up Dizzy drops. I am baffled as to the use ofdizzynow.

LOL, did dizzy ever work in PvE? Everymob that I have ever got'n dizzy of on(with pet mostly) drops asap when the mob instantly stands up. After working up to 0-0-0-2 in carbine and using theKD i gave it up. Posture changes help more then kd does in PvE. In PvP why would I want to run at a commando to get my kd off? I love my laser carb but the specials are just way broken and I wouldnt expect them fixed anytime soon.

No, Dizzy doesn't work currently. However, go on and check out the BH forum.. read the post about KD/Dizzy there. I believe it's stickied.

We also have area posture change in suppression fire 2 .. so if the dizzy worked it'd be a good combo. Area dizzy then area knockdown .. area posture change to make them fall again (2 chances), and by then your knockdown timer should be back

A Master Carbineer has Charge Shot 1 for a KD, and Full Auto Single 1 and 2, and Full Auto Area 1 and 2 for Dizzy. Unfortunately, Dizzy doesn't work on those named specials.

umm I may be wrong, but isn't that how the dizzy from fullautosingle has always worked?


Sigh this is getting sad, they are actually starting to pull other things down to a carbineer level.

I'm going to post this here. Off the correspondent forum that we can announce:


This impacts almost all ofthe combat professions: Now when you knockdown a creature or NPC, they'll stay down for a couple of seconds. If they are dizzy, they'll probably fall down again trying to stand back up (and will stay down for a couple more seconds).


I think this may be on the test center right now, I'm not sure. But, it will be in the next publish. Now all we need is Dizzy to work.

Speaking of KD ours is really the most useless one out there that ive seen but i have noticed something funny that im not sure other proffessions can do, or atleast my BH friend couldnt do it or atleast didnt succeed doing it last night.


When you fight AT-ST use KD on it it does an explosion animation and it hits the ground with a large crash it gets right back up there and keeps shooting but its the best thing to do with our KD since for the most part everybody gets up before we fire the next shot off.

Actually they are making when a mob gets a posture change dizzy goes away, so you have to fire dizzy after knocking them down and it should no longer work with posture changes as, kneeling and being knockdown are two different postures. They made this nerf to nerf those BHs exploiting mobs with it...too bad they took out the real purpose of dizzy and left us carbineers(when we get fixed) in the dust somewhat.
