Thread: HOW ABOUT A NEW CARBINE FOR MASTERS!! Dev's Plz read and think about it!
As all carbineers know, our "ELITE" carbine isn't all that Elite. It's the worst certification for an elite profession, doing less then 200 max dmg! Weaponsmith say it's because of the resources they need to actually make a decent one.
So, give us a NEW CARBINE that ONLY MASTERS CAN USE! AND MAKE IT SO THERE ISN'T DIFFERENT COMPONENTS! IN OTHER WORDS MAKE IT LESS COMPLICATED SO WEAPONSMITHS CAN ACTUALLY MAKE A DECENT ONE.
I am at a loss for words for the reasons, there are so many reasons which I can't just list them in a proper manner. Coupled with fustration, I don't want to seem hostile in this post.
Well having such specific resources requirements hurts the elite carbine quite a lot. I think an elite carbine made with resources on par to those used to make the laser carbines available from weaponsmiths now, would make the elite carbine a pretty good alternative. Personally I like the elite carbine, better accuracy, much better min damage (more consistent damage).
Sure, the elite has some weaknesses compared to the laser. Lower AP, lower max damage for instance. But the way I see it, your playing style will actually be the deciding factor whether or not you like the elite carbine. As I said before, I like the consistent damage, the better accuracy and last but not least I kinda like the look better aswell.
Anyways hoping for some good materials for this weapon, soon hopefully.
