Thread: no AE in Burst 2 or what i do wrong ?

I try use Burst2 for group of NPC(ranged combat) from distance 20m cone about 30 Degree. But only one targeted NPC take a damage?! I try it on another group but have similar effect. What my problem ?

This is GREATLY talked about all over this forum.....



Cone is small for starters. Then the damage is only done to targets in the cone already in combat mode.

I find the cone is really small, and was curious it was AoE myself, was on Dathomir the other day and grouped NPCs were walking around shouting random insults. They were all lined up nice and tight. Stood there and managed to get all of them in AoE, but not the first shot though. /burstshot2 is AoE but unless they are really clumped in or in a straight line it will be pretty tough. Good thing though is 2 tka's surrounding my doc beating him up in PvP fit inside the /chargeshot2 Cone long enough for my doc to make a hastey escape. Didn't i would ever manage it but i did manage to hit 2 KD's in PvP with one shot. I was happy.

The only thing that bothers me about burst 2 is the already mentioned stuff not already agro not taking damage. I havent noticed the small cone granted im usually more then 20 meters away from my targets. Going to the nightsister labor camp they mostly con white to me, A charge shot 2 or action shot 2 on a group of 3 followed by burst 2 and they never reach me. The red cons will Sometimes (rangers, rancor handlers) reach me but once they get close full auto area 2 or a few cripple shots on each drops them quick. I just wish the dizzy was easier to stick on the full auto's
