Thread: Is everything working?

Aside from legshot3 and the minor display bug on scattershot1/2, is everything working? Full autos dizzy? Actionshots bleed? Burstshot bursting? lol...


All I am hearing is good things but I want to open up this post for any bugs.

I found some of my area attacks against NPCs aren't working. I'm not sure why, this was just a last night thing. Other than that, everything is working well for me...excepet for the major HAM costs.

Oh, I should note. Dizzy so far has not worked on any commands for me so far. I got stun to work at least, but no dizzy. Knockdown works nicely.

As if on cue...


I noticed a bug with burstshot2 tuesday or wednesday...


Used it on a gaggle of Durnis (Took my time to make sure they'd all be in the cone)


Got combat spam hitting 4 out of 5 of the durnis, no damage less than 1500 on any of them (the one missed was a (baby))


My actual target dropped. I saw things like "+Body Hit+" and the like float over the other targets, yet none of them took any damage, and I didn't draw any aggro.


The follow up attack *did* draw aggro, but didn't lay out the durnis like I'd hoped.

Actually, i have had FAA and FAS apply states about 1 in 3 shots. Dizzy applied about 1 in 5. Once my FAS applied all 3 states on the first shot, so yeah, things are working well.


BurstShot2 mows through low-mid level mobs. I took on 5 Ravenous Tortons at once on Rori last night and took out 3 before incap with no buffs (i employ a 3 shot then heal plan). Mind incap, too many stims, lol.

I notived that everything is working. Right now as I see it (from a novice bh pov) Leg shots stun, full autos dizzy or blind, and the action bleed is suppose to change posture, though i have never had it work.

Oops forgot to mention the one bug I did find. Burstshot2, in combat spam hits all mobs/lairs in the cone. However sometimes on creatures (not NPCs) it doesn't actually record the damage on the "area" targets. It shows in combat spam but not on the mob's HAM.

We have all three states working.. With the apparent small cone size for AoE attacks, I think we need more testing but have no indication they are not working. And does anybody really use the Bleeds anymore????


Is SuppressionFire2 supposed to change posture less than 5% of the time? The bleed shots posture change is worse than that even....not sure if we have bugs or intended uselessness



Time to visit Rancor Valley to do some testing.


Wish I had a character on Wanderhome and we could expand the Special Modifier Data Table.




BTW, I used that data without permission

I have been noticing something similar imn4life. With results appearing in the combat spam, mine was against NS Sentries though and not durni's. Don't know if that makes a difference.


Only other bug i have noticed which might need to be address is with /chargeshot2 it's knocking everyone over but that AoE bug is not doing any damage to them. Not to big a deal, we got plenty this patch, and if the devs leave us alone i think i will hear very few complaints.


Also i noticed the Dizzy Duration in PvP seemed to be about 3/4 the time. Not sure how the defence vs. dizzy works i figured it might reduce the duration not sure though.


But overall <insert jaw dropping smiley> everything seems to be working!!!

Usually the cone shots will not damage any targets but the main one until they are agro. So if you open up on a lair, the first shot will drawn agro and do no damage to everything but then after that you will do damage. This is true of all cone specials not just carbineer specials.

Did a little messing around with FAA2 and this is what I found...

Shot 1:
State effect 7:10 times
State effect = stun 4:7 times
State effect = dizzy 1:7 times
State effect = dizzy AND stun 2:7 times

Shot 2:
If there was no previous state effect then the second shot also had no state effect each of the times I tested it.
If there was a previous state effect then the second shot "stacked" the next effect. In other words if stun stuck on the first one then dizzy would stick on the second one. If Stun and Dizzy stuck on the first one then blind would stick on the second one.

This was addmittedly a small test, but I didn't have much focus on testing as I was so excited to be using the new specials

I'm getting all my states (more frequently applying since patch)from FullAuto Area 2,


but it seems that my KD's from chargeshot 1 aren't landing as much and they aren't getting the TKA loop dizzy/kd thingy...


Action shot 2 is getting the area bleeds, but who cares about bleeds right!?


Also, I have been noticing that my enemies action pools haven't been receiving as much damage from the random shots.
