I have a Laser carbine dmg up to 360, speed 3.8. I have looked for a better carbine and have only found dx6, but dx6 have attributes with lower speed and damage than my laser. I havent yet found any vendors selling elite carbine, so if anyone know where to get a better carbine plz tell me

I go for speed for a carbine. I have an Krayt elite carbine with 1.3 speed and 258 max damage. I also have an advanced Short DH17 carbine with 1.2 speed and 208 max damage. I like the speed b/c I can hit more times then a weapon with 3.8 speed for example.

Ice has a point. With a 3.8 speed and master carbineer, you will be firing very slowly. Even if using a weapon with a much lower damage your overall output will be a lot higher. The only way weapons like this are really useful are if you use speed power-ups, or an unseenly high amount of skill tapes, or pick dabble in the BH carb line. Although a weapon like that may look nice on paper. A weapon with lower damage will likely outdo this one in terms of Damage per Second.

in addition... a weapon like the laser with a large range of damage (70-380 etc)gets hit MUCH harder by Damage Mitigation than an Elite or DH17Short for example (100-220 etc)with a much tighter damage range

Ive almost exclusivley used the Laser Carbine. However recently Ive purchased some very nice speed sliced Elite carbines and an advanced DH17 with a damage slice. Ive yet to do serious hunting with the new carbines, however im pleased with what ive seen thus far. I definatley like the look of the Elite better then the Laser but thats just personal preferance
