I just got master carbines, and mbh, w/ novice doc, and i plan to hunt krayts. Other threads here say that pub 21 stealthly nerfed the carbine pve temps, but i dont wanna redo my entire template all over again, just a few little tweaks would b good. Ne advice?

Kiting is the key (Im still not very good at it but it gets better)

I use to start with a KD followed by two legshots, than a snare and then I keep running in a circle trying to maintain a distance of about 40m. KD every 30 seconds keep your target snared, then you should be able to solo them.

I know two very very good MBH MCarbs on my server who solo all type of krayts.

No, the simple fact that Krayts were so easy to solo was FIXED.....not enough but it is a start.

The fact Snare's stacked was the bug and now appears FIXED.

So I don't see where the bug remains.....I will be testing some Cripple Shot in 'mid-range' PvE today to make sure.

Crippling Shot seems fine to me, lasts 20 seconds and the reduced speed seems about the same......the reduction may have been lessened but seems fine to me.

For all the complainers right now.....I say it is about time the high-end content like Krayts are harder than a chuba.....

isoloed about 50 krayts (im noob ...) and can say its very easy even without "double snare" (electrolyte + cripling) ... i solo up to lvl86 krayts in just 4-5 minutes (mostly 2 electrolytes enough) and got killed only while lagged or when krayt stuck in something and hits me from any distance ... ancients only with help of npc imp group if any ... its booring and long to kill one solo

... i have also root but i use it only to land close-debuffs like electrolyte

yesterday i was killin them without armor and i was killed only once
