Okay heres the thing... I want to be a carbineer, because I here they suck and I want a challenge . However I don't want to be bogged down by just shooting things all the time so I wondered what else I could spend those valuable SP on.

I'm thinking of several things, but Creature Handler really sticks out in my mind. It sounds pretty cool having a rancor watching your back . Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else has done this and could give some feedback. Thanks.

See the sig below

I have had CH for over6 months I guess now and I justs can't bring myself to drop it......besides Carbineer that is the next least likely prof for me to drop. Of course it does absolutely no good for PvP, even with my Screecher but for PvE there isn't anything better (except our lacking damage types limits Carbineer, but not CH).

As far as combat goes, this is the most fun in the game IMO.....but it isn't real Star Warsy....but so little of the game is so we have to play what the Devs give us....and George is NOT a Dev....

I would gladly answer any specific questions you have too

BTW, you will want BE Pets 99% of the time....yes a Rancor looks cool, but two or three Level 22-25 pets will PWN a Rancor any day of the week

Sounds good if you're PvE only. If you're looking at this for PvP, dont bother. Try something like carbineer/fencer.

PEACE through victory.

True, but you don't need to master CH to be an awesome PvE template, going 0444 CH is great if you find uber BE pets under Level 24.

And with that you can pickup Pistoleer 0044 AND have Novice Medic. Of course this isn't uber in duels, but it is VERY NICE in group PvP.

Ok, thanks for the tips... and no, I don't plan to participate in any PvP on a regular basis any time soon. To be quite frank.... I find PvP boring, nuff said.

I just need exploration IV and then its onto novice CH . Any hints on what gives good scouting xp??

harvest enraged rancors, they give 1.5k scout xp each..might want to bring another combat friend a along if they take too long to kill. Voritor hunters on dant give about 950 xp each too

Rancor? Be free, be different! Get a Bio Engineer to make you an awesomebearded jax with light armor and 12k plus 80% resist to all. Call it the "KittyofDeath".

If you do PvP at anypoint no on will expect that innocent kitty to CLAW OPEN HIS CHEST AND EAT HIM ALIVE!!

That or a bunny in true Monty Python style.

Chicks would love either

Back to "reality"......you want your BE pets to be cats that are FAST (gurrcat is one of many)as they can come pretty close to keeping up with your speeder. This is important hunting the big stuff because you will want your pets buffed and storing them clears the buff....
