Thread: made novice carbineer today!
I tried to land some area states and KDs but I kept getting choped up bad by mele guys. It was really funny, there I was the glorious squad leader running for his life while hopelessly trying to fire his carbine with 3 very hungry mele imps chasing him everywhere.

Same..Mastered Carbineer yesterday, sick of grinding..Just got my final template, Master Doc/Master Carbineer.. to fill a support role in guild base raids etc. I'll be at the back spamming states and dragging out , rezzing, and rebuffing the dead.. That said last time I was a master carbineer/doc (when trying out other stuff ages ago) I did ok ish in pvp, I have even better weapons now than then..I hope to put it to the test tonight

Dude, I spent the whole weekend pvping and dueling for countless hours with some guild members and I cannot cause any damage at all. The area states are nice when they land, and the KD's are nice too, when they land, but try incapping someone, it just wont happen now with armour.
I was dueling a guildie that has master carbs and master BH so hes even more stacked up then I am, the duel lasted for every, neither one of us came close to doing any damage worth mentioning that the buffs could not regen for us, we ended the duel after 15 minutes.
I hope we get some really good guns soon because it seems that without stun damage or AP3 your kind of screwed.

Stun won't help you either, as we have said dozens and dozens of times here....
This is a problem for EVERY prof so don't think it is just because you are a Carbineer. In fact I can take my Master Doc/Master Merchant with absolutely zero combat skills (not even novice marksman) and he is untouchable in duels without hardly EVER using a Stim.....
Unless you are a Jedi or "smart" Rifleman (pretty sure there are more Jedi 
) you can't kill ANYBODY that is prepared....so duels and PvP with armor is just a win for the Armorsmiths.....
