I know DoTs are a cheap tactic, and they've contributed to ruining the game, but thisreally isa lot of fun to play with (for me!).
I did a little PvP with her today, and i tooktrue pleasure in spraying Theed with Carbine propelled cone-area poo.
Who cares if Scatter2 doesn't do much damage through 90% composite, when all you have to do is knock off that remaining 1/xxxx mind

looted a 704 strength 200% potent unlimited use bowcaster the other day
i cried because it wasnt a carbine :-( lol

With a bowcaster like that I'd betray carbineer in the blink of an eye...
(or more likely go master Carb/Master Rifle)

It was looted of a NS (protector i think). I didn't loot it, i had to pay 25m on the forum to get her (kinda not priceless, but still ouchie on the wallet).
I guess i'm a sucker with the new poison resists/area cures, but i'm still going to get my money's worth

Grats on looting that...but that stuff is just sick and out of balance in PvP.

i would repair that thing well actually i dont know maybe you dont want to risk it since damage isnt what you are trying to do. You will have to repair it eventually.
So do you just lay on a poison and then switch it. Because i would do that then whip our a DXR6 pvp edition and spam Scatter shot and cripple shot for the chance at hitting mind.

Are you sure about that? Lets do the math.....
My DXR6 with Max/Min PU is 163/350 at the Speed Cap for CripplingShot.....against Mitigation Level 3 and 80% Acid Comp this is 75 DPS.
Now the 510 Mind Poison is doing 51 DPS, but it is hitting Mind 100% whereas CripplingShot is being spread among Health, Action, and Mind.
But it still doesn't sound that far out of balance once you look at the DPS.
