FYI Master Riflemen don't cap speed on all specialsat 1.0 on a 5-6 speed jawa, much less a 7-8 speed T21. With a 5.0 speed jawa they will cap speed on7 specials, 6.0 speed jawa will cap only 1 (HS1), with my 5.7 and no speed tape mods I only cap 2 specials (HS1 and HS2). With a 7-8 sec T21 the only thing riflemen will cap is autofire.
Granted even at a speed of 8, our slowest special (strafe 2) is still firing at 2.8sec, and due to the exponential damage growth in relation to speed, speed tapes and master marksman help us quite a bit more than the other classes.
Even with 90 speed though to get all special shots down to the 1.0 cap your gun needs to be a delay of no more than 3.0
But a strict Master Carbineer at +60 Carbine Speed fires the main specials (slowest ones) at the weapon speed......things that make you go hmmmmmm
But it is really about DPS, not min/max or attack speed.

hehe, wrong place to be talking speed, we lament our's, and know what rifles have.
all you need is a mere +6 in rifle speed attachments to cap a 6spd ion rifle, and +7 rifle speed caps strafe2 on a 9spd t21...if they were possible of course.
now compare that to 85speed (+25 carb attachments) at master, and you get us needing a 2.6spd carbine to cap cripplingshot/scattershotII/faa2.
simply put, rifles have too much compared to carbines, carbines have too little compared to rifles. no 2 ways 'bout it. ![]()

agree w/ you there, giving us +90speed would be a joke, speed slices and attachments would be worthless...i personally feel 75 is too much, 70 is 'bout perfect for our delay mods...that would make attachments VERY useful or speed slices very useful for those w/out alot of attachments.
i don't like the idea of being handed a 1sec/shot cap at any master level...rifles should have much less than 90, carb should have a little more than 60 (i like 70), pistol looks ok at 60, TKM have just waaaay too much, i say chop them down to 75...would only need +10 attachments to cap a 2.2spd VK, but they should be a quick class...and for the rest, i'm just not sure 'bout their mods well enough to comment on, but i'm sure most are too fast just like most of the ranged are (carbineer is the ONLY exception).

Realistically, all class should have the same speed at master. Math is Math. If everyone had +75 at master than everyone would speed up by the same amount and then your speed would be determined by the weapon of choice and the special you used.
