Are you holding a carbine? BTW, the reason that a Swordsman would counterattack more is Center of Being.

I never use COB with my swordsman.

Counterattack works for swordsman, but not for carbineers.

Yes counterattack works fine with carbines, never tried swordsman with only 30 counterattack though, always had the 105 from Master Carbineer when doing swordsman.

I was dueling my friend who is a swordsman yesterday. I'm 4413 carbineer, and I counter-attacked 20-30 times before I finally gave up and let her kill me.

I foughta Master Heavy Swordmans ealier today, and I noticed he counterattacked about 75% of my shots. I have +60 counterattack myself, and during the course of this entire fight (I was buffed, so I was taking on several players at once) I counterattacked less than 10% of the shots that hit me. I dont know if this is intended, or a bug, but it seemed like my counterattack was nothing compared to the Heavy Swordsmans. I dont know if he was stacking counterattack or not, but regardeless, with +60 counterattack I could tell no differance from when I had none.

I am a straight Master Carbineer with no template stacking and my CounterAttack works just fine at +105. That level it sucks, but it works.

..Maybe it only works for certain people?

I have my combat spam to make the word "counterattack" orange so I know when I do it.. and I don't do it very often..

I always counterattack /sniperShots. Lotta good THAT does me.

I picked up some skill attachments for it, too. I'm at +121 now.
