How do you guys not kill yourself when using carbine abilities non buffed?

Not buffed? Surely you must be joking! Seriously though, when hunting unbuffed, I always carry food and stims to help keep me going. 1 shot of brandy, 1 shot of accarragm, and a won-won will usually keep me going for a bit. Chefs can make more than brandy and bivoli, there are a lot of effective chef foods that are just not common on the market, but that's a chef issue, not a carbineer one.

i fought some1 unbuffed and actually won. i had 1 action to spare. if you want to fight unbuffed use a CDEF they have the lowest HAM cost, or a DH17...... then use some chef food and be a novice medic and you can do pretty well, but its more about kiting and not spamming specials then cause that will drain you.

I usually hunt buffed, but in the few situations when I hunt unbuffed, here is what I do:

This is what I do if I am going to be hunting for a prolonged period unbuffed.

1 gamoril (sp)

1 acaragam

3 ahrisa

This is what I do if I come across a rare spawn of something unbuffed and need to be able to spam specials, or if I am caught overt unbuffed and need to PvP without buffs

1 breath of heaven

you can also take a vercupti and a neutron pixie if you need some added HAM as well

I play unbuffed all the time and I have very little problems with killing myself. Here are a few suggestions.

1. Do not spam specials.

2. Try to wear less armor.

3. Get "lighter" armor.

4. Use terrain and line of sight to control the "tempo" of the fight.

5. If you are taking too much damage, break line of sight with your target.

6. Pick up some novice medic skills and some good stim b's.

7. Migrate secondary stats to lower HAM costs.

That is just a few off the top of my head. Hope this helps out

I actually do but i can do 5 shots then i get that message so after that impossible shot i bring a heal right after it and it heals with no delay-----------SHAZZAM oh yeah need brandy and accaragm and won won help alot.
