Thread: Rifleman's Dizzy effect plus Carbineer's KD (chargeshot): Deadly?

What do you think of this comibination? Obviously the timer in switching weapons makes this a questionable possibility, but it sounds like it could be devestating to a series of foes? Especially thinking PvP uses. Could it work? (of course, the other question is, do both of these abilities do what they claim to do?)

i rather use flurry 1 (dizzy) and supression fire(posture down) then run out of range forcing tehm to stand or whatever to cause teh KD effect

I strongly considered picking it up, but the 5 second weapon switch timer sucks. Everytime you want to apply a dizzy you have to wait 5 seconds to switch to rifle. Spam dizzy, then 5 seconds back.

That is indeed a nice combination, but now with the weapon delay, it wont be as efficient. By the time the dizzy lands and you switch to a carbine, and you fire off the shot... chances are, you'll be pretty beat up.. A better bet is to have some skill points in ranged support, for suppression fire. It doesnt KD, but it will sure have a chance of making them fall.

rifleman dizzy + charge shot 2 is a good combo - the weapon delay issue will not make it a good solo tactic, but if you and a carbineer friend go out pvping it is devastating. My younger brother plays a carbineer and I am master rifle. we can usually time it to knock down 3-5 people at once (depending on how groupped up they are) .

Ditto with that, run around with a master doctor friend of mine doing support tactics for our larger group of meleers. Works well.

Don't carbineers get suppression fire 2? Its a Aoe posture down attack and i think any ranged wep can use it since its lesser sister skill is in ranged support.

Suppression Fire 2 for carbs is actually identical in every aspect to Suppression Fire 1. There is no difference. It would make sense for it to be an AoE sing as how Carbs have Chargeshot2 as a area kd and Actionshot2 as AoE bleed and posture down.
With the delay it wouldn't be wise solo for sure.

what about having a riflemen and a carbineer in a group..... wait group pvp this is not allowed, but seriously this may be a good combo in group pvp with the hole area of effect shot using to hit multiple people unless u think urself a god fighting many peopleat one timeis suicide.(yes so cm can kill groups of people im sorry but u cant do that as well) or if u perfer not to rely on some one else u can just spam full auto area until u apply dizzy and kd em.

The chances of KD a group of expert PvP'ers is very close to 0%, you must Posture them......oh and it better be within 20 seconds or the Dizzy wears off....

with the new weapon delay, for solo, you would be better off without rifleman if you want aoe kd/dizzy, just use fullautoarea1/2 and then use chargeshot2

Was doing this in the Geo caves vs Crazed Geonasions in one of the little rooms a little ways into the cave.... went great
it was also funny as hell
