I just picked up a damn fine Laser with 2.7 speed with 107-500 dmg, so I'm dropping BH now that I don't need all of that speed anymore andchanging my temp to the following:

Master Carbineer

Master Pikeman

Pistoleer 0040

Medic 0040

Combat Prowess 0003

Great action damage, benefits of thoseinsane 1k LVAs. Great state defense as well. Wadda'ya think?

*And if you got an suggestions, I'm all ears.

as most people would say...you kinda must take bh carbines with carbineer for the extra speed and accurcy...but whatever, that would be pretty good considering all of the extra defenses...just make sure you get some speed tapes.

I'm a non-bh carbineer and have +22 in speed tapes so far...you'll love it

Sounds very good, but the action damage won't be all that great since legshot3 is broken and using cripple/scattershot you'll be way more effective since you're speedcapped.

I have the exact template, except I substituted Pikeman for Master Fencer, and it works beautifully provided you have enough in speed tapes. Accuracy tapes are great too, but not required.

It's a kickass build, and by far beats any BH/Carbineer template you can create. Defenses are well in the 80s and 90s, with some over 100. Flexibility of dual professions allow for "Carbineer" mode or "Melee" mode, which adds versatility to PvP and provides added mitigation. Pistol Tech is simply uber, and Pharm 4 allows for the use of Stim Es.

Simply put, I've only ever lost one duel with my Carbineer/Fencer template.. that was to a DoT-pikeman Doc, who stacked about 700 mind fire. In the end, both our mind pools were drained and we were brawling to get that last critical hit to make the incap count. He got lucky.

Awesome for group PvP, especially if you have DoTs. Good for PvE.. suffers the damage of Carbineer and whatever other melee prof you have, but it's still ok.

As for the subsitution of Fencer for Pikeman, by all means, go ahead. I picked Fencer for obvious defensive reasons in PvP, but Pikeman with the right equipment and SEAs, especially some nasty DoTs, would simply rock out there. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, heh.

Speed is your only concern, and seeing as you put those 3 SP to good use with FS melee speed like me, you only need +16 for both Carbineer and Pikeman to truly make this shine.
