A lot of speed that you WILL need if you choose to use carbines. carbines are slow and almost impossible to hit the speed cap with. If you want to go for master carbineer do it, if your just going to "dabble" id suggest yougo with a different weapons class.

Lol, yes it is. I have a 1.7 speed E11 carbine, and using ChargeShot and CrippleShot with it is still relatively slow. The problem is the delay modifier that gets added to most "good" carbine shots.
You need speed bonuses to counteract those delays. Pistoleers and Master Riflemen have practically no delay between shots b/c of their speed bonuses. Carbines don't unless you take up Bounty Hunter Carbine too.
That was what he meant. You may have a carbine with a low speed number, but it will still not be at the maximum speed cap that you can fire.

i have a 2.6 and a 2.8 and i hit the speed cap with normal shots, thats about it... and i'm a master. if you wouldn't mind spending a little extra SPs, you could go 4-3-0-2, thats slightly better than 0-4-0-4. of course, you still miss out on the 2nd best carbineer special (burstshot1)
