Carbineer Archive

I need some clarification. I've seen several post that state Carbineer counterattacks stack with Swordsman counterattacks. But then I've also seen post that say they dont stack at all?

I really love PvP and as a Master Carbineer I've done pretty well. Besides HAM cost (dead horse, i run around constantly buffed) I think this is a great profession even with the broken specials.

Anyways, I want to be the best I can and Im trying to combine another combat profession with Carbineer that will help me the most in PvP. I dont want to pick up TKA like everyone else.

I was thinking Swordsman if it stacked up for the extra counterattack. I know it wont be as good as Pistoleer/Fencer combo but I dont want to be a Pistoleer. I really like Carbines and want to keep it as long as possible.

Any suggestions from you kick butt PvPers?

*I dont have any BHCarbines skills. I was a BH before with thewhole Carbine tree. Im looking for something different.*

I am combining swordsman and carbineer and I am happily surprised at how effective my defense is:-) I am a wookee so I need it!!!! Here is a great link to a post on the subject ...hard evidence and all ...its a must read!

If you want good melee and ranged defenses you coudl add master rifleman to carbineer. Plus that'll give ya a dizzy shot with rifles to go with your Carb KD.

At master Rifleman that's 40 melee and 72 ranged defense. with Master card that's another 27 ranged defense.

What level are you in Swordsman and Carbineer? And how do u do in PvP?

If you have high counterattack, pick novice brawler. Now pick up an axe and attack something. Oh look! Your carbineer counterattack mods work immediately.
