To acquire enough skill points for master carbineer, I have to let go scout, which can be a tough decision becuase exploration I-IV is my No.1 favorite skill branch.
If I forfeit scout 4/x/x/x, I'll losethe abilities of IFMC (namely Insanely Fast Mountain Climbing), KFFW (Kinda Fast Flatland Walking), not to mention the big farewell to the /maskscent command. I'll surely miss that nose icon on the top left corner of the screenas a bunch of mountain squills pop up nearby and threaten to kick my azz.
On the other hand, master carbineer will surely make it easier for me to make ends meet, and make me look less dorky when I'msharing a hunting group with other elite professions known for their decent damage output.
This is one of those occasions when I cannot tell what I really want. So please enlighten me.

Well, I would surrender whatever skills you have in other areas for bounty hunter / carbineer. If you don't want to, I would consider dropping your carbineer skills for master rifleman. Master carbineer alone is still pretty weak, and this is going to be fixed and revamp later on...master carbineer alone (at the present time) is not worth it really unless you have +25 in tapes and uber krayt enhanced 3.0 weapons or BH skills.

In my opinion, the need for ANY exploration skills went out the door the day the added vehicles. Drop them, you'll get used to it. I didn't want to drop exploration either, but once I just sucked it up and got rid of it, I got used to it fairly quickly.

The thing is, terran nego is quite useful for kiting melee only npc's, and yes I have seen a few still around after the update, and meele stacker players, most of which forget about the whole 'need to be withing 12m of my target to hit it' thing, so you can just lead them by the nose, and let them callyou a cheater all they want. However, the thing is, what other skills do you have to drop? MCarbineer is quite good, especially coupled with the BH carbines tree, or even MBH. The increased acuracy from BH, what little it is, helps, but the specials and the speed are what you really look into the BH tree for.
