I would like to start a Thank You thread dedicated to the previous Carbineer Correspondents, SOJ and Novamarine

The Carbineer Profession and even the entire SWG Community has truly been blessedwith the hard work and dedication that these two showed. I worked closely with Novamarine for a number of months and the job he did here was perhaps the finest any person could do for any one profession. His fairness towards the balance of all professions is one of the many, manythings he passed down to me. Even though I am making minor updates to the FAQ and the Special Info, 99% of the information contained there is from my predecessors, which is a testament to the awesome job that was done before me.

There is a lot more to say about these two fine people and I invite each of you to write your own Thank You to these two wonderful Carbineer Correspondents.

wasn't here when SOJ was still correspondent, so I will trust your jugdment on that

as for novamarine, I was very impressed by his discussion of the TOP5 issues and the overall quality of the FAQ. in the end nova deserves a lot of credit for forming my Carbineer into something worthwhile, and most of all, working. thanks

I joined this game when novamarine was the Carbineer correspondent. I tried several professions, and for each of them I read the specific boards. The Carbineer board was, next to the Ranger and Smuggler boards, one of the most informative and constructive. It seems that the least popular professions have the best people in them

Thank you, novamarine, for your work on the FAQ, the extensive testing you have done and your lobbying at the summit

I've been here since nearly the begining, and I'm still a carbineer. I've seen Soj and Novamarine do quite the work. Both were great correspondants.

90% of the reason i still play this game is because of the outstanding community here on the carbineer boards, and what is any group with their fearless leader?

The work that those 2 have done for the proffession ... anyone else remember their jaws hitting the floor when Pub 7 details were released?

Yup, and I remember having the collective foot of the PvP community stuck in that gaping hole in my head when I encountered my first PvP opponent in 85% Composite armor and synthsteak.
