Hey everyone,

I am starting a new template and I have been thinking of a Combo with Carbineer in it.

I have a couple questions though.

1. Does the Chargeshot actually have a good chance to KD a target? Say in PVP, am I going to be able to get a few guys on their backs using Chargeshot2???

2. What are some good stats on a DXR6 Carbine? I have one hitting for approx 210 I think, is that average?

Thanx for any help you can offer,

Cheers,

Damian-j

ChargeShot2 seems to me more successful in landing a KD than ChargeShot1, so it makes it the prime choice for Carbineers. There are a few things you can do to ensure that your target flops down faster, though, which includes:

- applying a Stun to your target. This slightly lowers their defenses and allows for a slight increase in the chance to KD

- using high accuracy carbines with the possible combination of accuracy boost foods. It's been unofficially "proven" that the higher your accuracy, the better chances you have of a KD working.

- the best thing you can do, however, is to force your target in a posture down using ActionShot2 or SuppressionFire. Most people don't have high defenses to this and will kneel, and following with a ChargeShot generally ensures your target is on the floor.

Don't forget to 'dizzy' them first if you can.

As for the DXR6, it's hard to judge how "effective" hitting for 210 is, as it depends on your target's mitigation levels and armor, etc. Keep in mind that the DXR6 is a relatively slow Carbine, so you want to get it speed-sliced or used speed powerups (or whatever combination if you have Carbine Speed SEAs) in order to reach speedcap.

I generally only recommend DXR6s if you're able to get one crafted with krayt tissues and an Imperial form-fitting stock, and can get a good slice. For all other purposes, a Laser Carbine might be a better investment.
