In answer to your question firehawk. I did account the ranged defense in account vs (counterattack, dodge, block) when cob was not activated and no weapon was activated, it was pure ranged/melee defense take in account, but when cob/weapon are activated (when he is holding his gaffi stick, and centered, the dodge factor was also taken in account) Also, I am sorry for my template testing, (i was a master carbineer/combat medic for 5months, and i must say the /aim command did help me in certain situations, mentioned on my /burstrun /aim post on another thread,) I did not eat any food or drink anything with this testing also.

Well, usually experiments have conclusions, but from what it looks like from the data, /aim doesn't make a huge difference.

Personally, I think the /aim command should only be used with weapons that are so innacurate they have a higher chance of hitting you than what you point them at (ie the LLC *shudder*).

Heck with that, I'll just stick with Citrus Snowcake if I get hard up for more Accuracy. At least I know it works.

Nice to see some testing....not sure we see a huge improvement, but /aim does help. My question is about Carbine Aiming vs. General Ranged Aiming since we are specifically in the Carbineer Forum. More conclusive testing will come from changing YOUR setup, not the targets setup.
Question, were you recording a Dodge/Block as a Miss? The CoB works with the secondary defense (Block/Counterattack/Dodge) whereas a pure -MISS- is based off Ranged and Melee Defense.
And in general having the BH Carbs line is not a very good representation for Carbineer....of course it is good to know for the BH's, but I always like to have a disclaimer so the "pure" Carbineers out there don't get misled.

What weapon did you use and what was the ideal range mod? Also, were you standing at ideal range?

You should also take into effect the accuracy stacking used against the defence stacking. BH Carbines IV makes a world of difference with both accuracy and speed. Someone should try this with Just Master Carbineer and with varying stages of the accuracy tree. I don't think aim was designed to be a high end skill.

Agreed with BH/Carb combine you way max out accuracy. Relative to a +200 accuracy, /aim just isnt going to do very much.

Snow Cake adds 40% doesn't it? Or is it just labeled wrong?
And I have +115 Def vs. KD that is natural if anybody wants to try and take some "cheap shots" at me
It gets boring sometimes to use my 2 Carbineer accounts to take "cheap shots" at myself
