Thread: How much for a 500 max damage Laser carbine on your server?

This is not a price check.
I have been trying to find one of these for ages, and I really have no idea what these go for. They are never auctioned, I dont ever see them in weaponshops. How much have you seen these sell for on your server, or if you have one how much did you pay? Just looking for advice should someone come forward and offer me one at some point in time.

Well you need a Stock and Krayt Tissue along with a sweet damage slice, so they aren't that common. +50 Tissues and a 35% Damage Slice would get you above 500 max damage.
Seems like my last purchase was under 500 max damage and under 1 mil.....hope that helps, but check your Trade Forum

I have been checking my trade forum for months. No one has these things, and when they do they wont sell them. At this point I am resigned to buying the components myself I suppose.
EDIT:
Let me change the focus of this post real quick. If I were to gather the components myself:
a. how many tissues would I need?
b. if I am speedcapped would a player crafted +40 stock be the best?

Making one is pretty easy, actually.
You'll need 4 identical tissues for a Krayt Laser Carbine. Only 3 are used for the weapon, but one is used for the schematic for the handlers (which need to be made ina factory.) In other words, you need 4 tissues for one but only 7 for two.
You'llprobably need+50 damage tissues or over, though, and those can be costly. (I'm not sure how the exact numbers work out, but if you take the base max damage of a Laser to be 320, then with +50 thats around 370.. and a 35% damage slice will get you 500 max damage on the dot. )
Yes, a player-crafted stock would be better (and cheaper) if you don't need the extra speed.

Believe or not I was a weaponsmith at one time (non-hologrind). I think my best LC was like 250 though, and I only ever made like 10 of them because they were so terrible. Anyways thanks for the help guys I appreciate the replies. I think I can come up with +50 tissues more easily than I can come up with a LC.

Well i guess im a lucky bast*rd then, no! Krayt laser carb called Alphabet Killer. 2.7 speed and 115 to 667 max damage. /pet, /snicker. Muhahaha Of course thats with 33.16% max damage powerup.

Easiest and cheapest way to get a 500 Max Damage Laser Carbine ... swing by your local WS buy 3-5 Baseline Stocked Laser Carbines, take them all to smuggler get them all sliced, one will almost certainly be a 30+ Damage Slice, then Drop a 33% Max Damage PU. Although with this method you will end up with a very slow carbine that doesn't take advantage
of the enhanced speed from a kryat tissue.
As far as a kryat weapon i couldn't tell you, every kryat gun i have owned i have either looted myself, or been part of the group that looted the tissues then my guild smith put the gun together for me. But i would say if you found a smith with a pre-built carbine with a max damage of 400+ plus you could probably aquire it for around 500K-1.5M, they pray you get the damage slice needed.

This is what I generally do. Being at the speedcap gives you the luxery of only carrying wepons with damage slice. Although I tend to buy themin crates of 10 or 20.
I don't go krayt very often. I jsut get stocked and scoped carbines. But I did buy a Krayt last weeek. A Laser carbine with visable scope and stock 80 to 400 damage, unsliced cost me 1.2 mil. I am holding out on slicing it till after the smuggler revamp in the hopes they get to pick slices. PU is what I'm using at the moment gets me 105 to 520 damage. It is nice.

somebody on chilastra (suicide-bob) got a 620 max laser carb (sliced, no Pup) for about 3 million i think.

well on the chimaera server the most powerful laser carbine i have ever seen was one with a max of 412 and speed of 4.2, and i bought it, cost me 30k hell of a deal tis was one of merou's guns and actually met the bloke aswell when i was buying it. pretty sure it may hav e had some sort of special tissue used on it but i remember him saying that on the wepons on his vendor he hadnt said that they were all krayt or anything so they just seemed expensive....anyway i would to find a 600 laser carb or something would rock...and hopefully i'll post some infor on my one later after i log in for a bit

Not quite 500max but close. I picked up a Czar sliced lazer carbine around 114 - 447 damage(at work so can't check the exact number but in this range) has very good range but has a3.9 attack speed. I got it for 250k.

I thought very seriously about buying that gun! I ultimately decided to pass and hold off for a 500 (still waiting...). I think it was like 700K if I remember correctly. That is the best LC I have seen for sale on Bloodfin.
