Hey Guys,

I recetly finished my BH grind and im starting up the carbineer trees... Im looking over the specials to try and plan some attack strategies and wanted to know if there was an actual root available to us. From what I can tell, there are a few possible snares, but no root that I can see:

Supression Fire: Fires in a short range cone that snares mobs?

Crippling Shot: again is this a root or a snare?

Its nice to see we get a KD, but I already have improved underhand shot from the BH Pistols tree.

No ROOT for us, at least yet. Suppression Fire might ROOT since the delay right now is less than 10 seconds but nobody knows since it has been broke since the first day of beta on TC.

Crippling Shot is a SNARE.

Carbineer/SL is fun, let my group tank the pikets while I blast them

I just couldn't justify the Skill Point Cost for dabbling in Pistoleer when already Master Carbineer and getting some BH.

If you need 3-5 delay state specials to kill 1 or 2 targets then you should be in a group and not solo.....that is the core basis of the CU in fact

Oh I should add I still have my 3rd account that is a Master Doctor so I have full-time buffs still too and that probably makes a difference along with my Novice Doctor healing after my top of the line Rebel Battle Armor

This is the very reason why I had to take up some Pisotleer, for Stopping Shot.

Yup, pistols and carbs is a pretty good combo. I'm enjoying it!

I had Stopping Shot for quite awhile and frankly it is a waste of a damage shot as I would have to pause or come back to the target because they got too far behind me....Crippling Shot and Charge Shot are more than enough to kill creatures well above your CL.

Stopping shot rules. Ive found Improved Charge Shot to do a lot more Knockingdown than Underhand shot as im master BH and carbineer.

I love the snare and the kd shots as well, but I find that if I'm running around for too long(taking on creatures that are 5 lvls higher or more than me) that I tend to run into other mobs that attack me. The stopping shot gives me the ability to stop the creature in a safe spot, after snaring him and getting away from the herd or whatnot, and then blast him with the damage shots without getting ambushed by other aggressive mobs in the area. Thats just IMO tho
