I usually demand 10k if i should hit a target... cheapshot as i am. *grin*
About damage in combat, it depends so much on your weapon, the question can't be answered like this.

10k wow lol i am doing m carbs, andworking on master commando, im gona be thankful fora 5k hit, with that plasma flamer

Uh... i guess you missunderstood my joke. I never said i'd do 10k of damage, would i get to that, i'd faint and fall out of my socks... 
But telling damage values is just a joke, there are too many variables:
- target level vs. your level
- special you use
- weapon you use
- constellation of sun, moon and stars at the moment you fire
- your granduncles birthday
- the zodiac of your pet
- etc, etc, etc...
