I don't know if most of the carbineer community knows about this but pistoleers will no longer being able to KD people with their disarming shots. This means that out of the three elite weapon fields we'll be the only ones able to KD people. Now our profession will actually stand out more, too bad they still haven't fixed all of our special moves.

they'll still have a kd (pistol melee defense, i think), its just not ranged

Correct Kaellok, style also know as pistol whip, and it has a 7m use.

But with the KD "fix", it wont matter much.

Well you have to remember, Disarm Shot was Charge shot.

So Disarm Shot was a carbineer skill.

Charge shot should be doing knockdown, not Disarm shot

Disarm shot was never meant to do KD

Well this is my point, about 30-60% of the people in pistoleer right now were in it for only the KD ability offered by disarming shot even though disarming someone was suppose to knock their weapon from being equiped not knock them to the floor. Pistol wip will still do it but since when do we even want to get that close to a pistoleer from the get go. Interesting that the pistoleers were more interested in asking the devs for the ability to hoster their weapon then correct the disarming shot bugged side effect of knocking people down. To be honest I was merely pointing out that not every jacka** with a pistol will be running around anymore being able to knockdown people. Even though KD is nerfed all out, its still an effective tactic that the pistoleers will no longer be able to steal from us.
