Hi all,

Just a thought, I was thinking that within the Carb tree, and every other weapons spec tree there should be a skill/stat mod that says at lvl 1 carb you get reduced HAM costs by 5% (across the board, all lvl 1 groups finished)(for your branch of weapon only), lvl 2 a 12% decrease to listed weapon HAM costs, lvl 3's finished a 20% decrease in HAM costs, lvl 4 a 29% decrease in HAM costs, and master (total 40 %) decrease in HAM costs,

So,

all lvl 1 (5%)

all lvl 2 (12 %)

all lvl 3 (20 %)

all lvl 4 (29%)

Master (40%) These mods would not be cumulative

I like this idea because it promotes Weapon specialization, I think of it like this, If I train exclusivly for carbine usage the effects of going full auto will not be as devestating as someone who has no xp with the weapon. For all of you that have shot a gun (shotgun is a good example, when you first pull the trigger your hurting (I was, laughs, stupid skeet shooting at the age of 13, **edit** gun almost tore my shoulder away, but a trained or experienced skeet shooter for example can shoot off multiple times in a 10 sec interval and show no ill effects, where as a 13 yold shooting an a semi automatic shotgun 3 times in 10 secs would be out of it, prolly rolling in the dirt)

What do you all think of this? and again this could work for rifles, pistols, and Carbines equally well. although personally I would prolly max pistoleer (master) with a 20 % decrease to HAM's, and maybe riflemen's to 15 to 20 % as those weps are not really difficult or hurtfull to handle, example being shooting a30-06 rifle, a.45 handgun and an AK47 or AR15

i would appreciate any comments, also would be very good for commandos (perhaps give them a range bonus, or speed increase in addition to lowering HAM costsbut not both)
