btw you might want to check out Divinely's shop she has a few Krayt enhanced weapons for sale, shop can be found on planetry map under krayt weapons vendor.

I'm not an weaponsmith, but, from what i've been told, the tissues go into the power handlers during construction.
Different weapons have different number of power handlers.

And the serial numbers on the tissues have to match if there is more than one slot needing filled or if they use an velocity enhancer.

But, Krayt tissue only has a couple of different serial numbers if you get the tissue.

Krayt tissue is rare though.
I'd say you can get it off of maybe 1 in 5 kills or less.
Same goes for scales, which are used to make armor better.

It's also rare because of course, it can only be looted once.
And, if you aren't able to solo them..Hehehe i.e. your not a smuggler,
You'll more than likely be in a large group.
Good luck being right there when it hits the sand.

I tried that one time when his health was about to go,
I started running towards him.
Didn't work, I got incapped about 30 meters from him.
Suckers area attack is hideous.
Time it right and hotkey /loot.
Maybe you'll get lucky.

Also, between 4-6 tissues seems to be the average.
If you can get some, a WS or anyone for that matter will pay good credits for them.

Or just get an awesome weapon made and sell it for 100000-300000 cr.
Seems that's the going rate for Krayt enhanced weapons.

Don't fight Krayts for XP, it's bugged. Sometimes you won't even get any.
Fight them for the loot or the thrill, because it's quite fun.

krayts do give xp i get upto 5k carbine and 2k Creature Handler xpper krayt.

I've hunted them many times and yes, they do give XP but not always. Definantly not every time. It is bugged I promise. At least on my server.

Can't count the times after one goes down that people are saying hey, did you guys get xp for that?
I hit them for major damage with an llc and only average maybe 2500 xp for the regular Canyon Krayts.
I can get more than that off a Merek. Geez.

Check their resists and the guns youre using. Using an EE3 against a 100% heat resist animal will yield 0 xp.

Its not broke.

I know, I always check resists.
Canyon Krayts for example, have 60% resists to everything but cold-20%.
I usually use an LLC or Scatter pistol.
Those weapons hit pretty hard.
And i've asked others, they sometimes get up to 4000-5000 xp, but usually not more.

Seems like it should be more like 10000 to me.
