Doctor, since a novice CH can't pull out powerful Pets and a Master Doc is priceless on the battlefield

a novice ch can only use the same pets as a non ch. cl15 however with 1/1/x/x you can get a Grand Wrix and/or Greater Sludge Panther plus some others.

I went with a Master Carbineer(now 2/3/2/2), Master CH(now 2/2/1/3)and novice medic (3/2/3/4) (now master). I think I will have fun with this tamplate, though I am unsure how well I can heal my pets after I lose some medic blocks.

Well the most important fields in Medic are First Aid and Pharmacy... you can buy stims from other players cheap and well diagnostics don't know much about but with First Aid 4 my friend can heal me over 400 dmg with a good stim B .. he's not at Pharm 4 so he can use a stim C. And also while in a camp you pet will heal faster especially with you stim'n him. Thats just what I have noticed... I could be wrong

Ch works well if you can put some points into it. If you don't want to invest alot of points in ch then go for master Doc.

My personal opinion, but go with the Doctor template. Even if you could put more points into CH, the class is not done seeing the business end of the nerf bat yet. Too many pets, not enough droids. Not Star Warsy enough. THe DEV issues (and a lot of community issues) basically equate this game to being Sci-FI Pokemon at the moment. Not sure that I agree 100% with that, but its the general impression. The class effectiveness will be decreased again. Basing a template on what works with CH now, well. It may lead to a no where near as effective character in another month or two.
