Thread: Dabbling Delight
As I was moving up the carbineer and doctor trees, I decided to ditch doc and go for BH Carbine. I've been a master doc before, so I wanted to try something new.
One of SWG's strong points is that I can create my own character class. So, which skills would you reccommend I grab from Carbineer. I already have 0111. I'm thinking I'll get up to Cripple Shot, and then get as much speed as I can, to make sure I can cripple at the cap.
I know some people are strongly anti-dabbler. "Stay pure to the class" and whatever. If you're going to flame, at least answer the question somewhere in the inferno.

I don't have the tree in front of me, does anyone know what defenses we get? Do we get an vs KD?
Comparable? I would not compare burstshot2 to crippleshot....one has a 5x damage modifier and another a 7.5x damage modifier. Thus, one has 50% more damage per shot than the other. Thats comparable? The speed differences between the shots is irrelevant since the BH speed is being applied.
Me personally?...I was a Master Carbineer. I dropped from master to 0300 and picked up BH 0400. I gave up defenses for overwelming firepower. With my spare points I have points in Ranger so that I can track down my enemies and medic to counteract the high HAM costs.
If they ever fix the HAM costs, which I am beginning to believe they never will, I will go master carbineer, BH 0300 and novice medic. Right now novice medic is not enough to support a carbineer.
