Freeze I assume you mean Posture Change......
It is often preferred in PvP over ChargeShot because KD Defense is so high.....mine is +115 
Although it rarely works and unless you are in a group you are better served with FullAutoXX or ScatterShot.

At a certain time in the game when them silly Imperials attempt to zerg out of the cloner.... this special attack is extremely powerful LOL. Most people who pvp on a regular basis have maximum mind pool and anything else dumped into focus/willpower. That leaves running out of the cloner with 400ish action, and bam! pwned.

I do use it sometimes tho, but I pretty much stick to suppression2. I mean they both do they same thing right? Posture Change?

Actionshot2 is AoE.

I rarely use either.....battle with a CM doesn't last long enough... 
I suppose if I was in a group I would use them more, since I would be more support than front lines. But the sad state of PvP leaves me to solo Coronet and Theed or defend a worthless base at times.......BORING either way ya go IMO.

Err I thought Suppressionfire 2 was also AOE. Man if your right, im a Carbineer noob lol.

While you are a NOOB it is reported as a Single Target Special but maybe the Devs made a good stealth change for us.....but I doubt it. I logged out for the night or I would check this just to prove your noobness

Hey fellow carbs,,,wondering if anyone else uses this shot as much as I do. Its a guarentee bleed every time,,,but I cant get the freeze to stick in PvP.....if I could could land this shot I feel that along with KD,,,im tuff to beat..........I usually actionshot 2,,,,,,kd,,,,,then fullauto and crippleshot while they lay there.........however if the actionshot would actually freeze em up like its supposed to,,,,we'd have a whole other special to play with......Does anyone else have PvP success with this shot?
Any thoughts apreciated...

To address your concern though, it may be an accuracy issue. You'll have more luck with it 'working' the higher your accuracy is (or so the rumors suggest, heh.)
I usually have more luck stunning a target with "LegShot2" in PvP (over FullAutoSingle2, for example), so I primarily open with:
LegShot2 till Stun (if it doesnt stick after 3 shots.. or 3 seconds (/love speedcap), I use FullAuto), then ActionShot2, which works 50% of the time against a Stunned Target (rough estimate of course) and then of course ChargeShot.
I rarely miss a KD.

I think wildshot would be better to stick a stun (Or confusion shot if your uber like me)?

Heh yeah, generally WildShot is supposed to be better but.. /shrug - LegShot2 works best for me, heh. Maybe I got lucky a few times and am biased..
.. yeah, that's probably it. *grins*
And damn.. I wish I had ConfusionShot.
