Thread: DOT Carbines?

Ok guy question, have you guys seen the DOT carbines yet? They seem to have a strength of 40 or so with alot of uses. Are these any viable in PVP/PVE? I would like to have opinion before I go spending creds on a bad/borked carbine.

Ive got 3 or 4 dot carbines,,,I always buy them when i see then just because they are somewhat rare...Mine range from crap to avrerage,,,,but Ive seen a few carbs with killer dots.......

I saw a carbine with an 835 strength Mind Poison on it. Too bad the condition was terrible on it (less than 50 left) and severly overpriced because of that, heh.
But they are rare. More so than other DoT weapons, aside from perhaps a VK.

One thing to think about, even if it has a weak DOT, use an AoE and watch the docs panic.

I collect health DOT carbines.
I know right off the bat people are laughing at health poison, but let me explain.
I have the Enhanced e11 carbine with the 150 dot health bleed and a high potency so it almost always lands.
I have a health poison Laser Carbine I looted off a NIghtsister that has 150 dot . ( I saw one with a 250 health poison dot i wanted...)
The reason I use health type is because carbineer has minimal chance to attack mind.
So thats 300 a tick. not bad for a non-combat medic. Throw a confusion shot on em and tear em to bits.
