I'm currenly working on MCH/Master Carbineer.
With the soon to be revamp of BH, I was thining of picking up the carb line for some accuracy and speed
Unfortunatly, this would only let me master one profession, Marksman. the set up I'm looking at is.
Carbineer: 4/4/0/4
Creature Handler: 2/2/2/4
Bounty hunter: 0/0/4/0
Novice Medic
Master Marksman
how would that work? I would have capped accuracy as well as, I believe, speed (could be wrong). And before the comment goes out that I should jus drop CH and master Carb, I would rather keep CH than anything, because that is my choosen profession. I see speed and attack, but feel I might be losing a bit in defensives here. don't know if it would be good. I only PvE so I'm not worried about PvP suggestions. If anyone has a comment, let me know.

I didn't even have to read thru the whole thing to not like the CH part at least.
Please do some homework on what CH skill trees look like.....go up the trees, not across
And I would suggest going 0400 BH for Carbine mods instead of Pistol mods.....
www.bloodfin.org is the place for Kodan's ProfCalc that you need in a BAD way....
My advice is to now worry about BH if you are going PvE only, get Master Carbineer and Master CH....I was one for a very long time and miss it greatly.

since this is a template idea thread, i thought i'd ask about an idea i had.
I'm currently Mcarb/Mpike, 4/0/0/0 TK, 1/0/3/0 scout leaving me with upclose damage from pike, ranged damage from carb, Meditation for extended hunting trips, and harvesting with some terrain neg from scout. All in all, i find it fun and its alright for what i do ingame which is hunt NS or harvest critters for stuff.
I was toying with this template after reading some of TAfirehawk's posts.
MCarb
MCH
Marksman 0/0/4/1 (i actually use the Aim command)
TK 4/0/0/0 (love meditation, takes longer, but can heal *all* wounds)
Would this work for how i like to play? Mainly as a soloist who does 99.8% pve and likes to harvest critters.
Suggestions are appreciated, thanks

Well honestly I hope some others comment, I know Nova can, but Master Carbineer and Master Creature Handler are flat out fun. Some SEA's help and buffs are still required for fast kills, BUT it does allow the option for no buffs and no SEA's with a ton of Stim B's of course ![]()
Powerboost will help, but healing yourself won't do much with the uber tanks receiving all the nasty stuff.
Only 4,072 to go.....

I somewhat inclined to agree with TAfirehawk, in that there are increasing returns to scale for elite professions and 2224 CH in any profession just seems wrong (keeping in mind I know almost nothing about CH), with the exception of BH investigation 3.
I would disagree about forgetting about BH. Not because I know that BH is good or bad in PvE, but it sounds like you are interested in trying BH out. I would say forget about being good or bad and just play with it and have fun. If you like it, great. If you find that you are not doing what you want to be doing, you can change easily enough.
I would say that you are currently fairly familiar with CH-Carbineer (because that is what you were working towards), so if you have even a reasonable interest in something else, try it out. That is what keeps the game fresh, as opposed to a "I've been atailor (or other profession)since day 3 and I'm bored now, give us more content".
9,662 more to go...
P.S. This is not to say that more content isn't needed in the game. Don't misunderstand what I am saying.

I know the CH trees, former MCH, the way it's set up with CH I'm going to be able to utilize level 24 pet, or a cobination of 2 level 24 pets. but looking at it now, I am going to see that being BH with Carb and CH is going to be pointless, so I should just either go Carb or bountyhunter and all things considered, I'm going to stick with CArbineer/CH
