Hey , im Mswordsman/Mbrawler 0/0/4/0medic, im thinking about mastering Carbineer, will carbineer be effective with swordsman in pvp/pve. Im trying to get a Pvp/pve temp. help me out guys, thanks

well Carbineer has alot that targets action Im thinking a good ranger/melee combo is pikeman/carbineer. We dont really have anything that targets mind just scatter shot but thats all random and in the end rifleman maybe the best for u lol

Well i really was thinking carbineer because of the Counterattack, my friend is a Swordsman/carbineer and he owns. Do you happen to know when Counterattack caps?

Caps at +125 and Swordsman is way more effective with Counterattack because of CoB.

Ben has a sticky with some great info in it.
atm the moment the possible template available in the game is Master Ranged + Master Melee + 4440 Fencer. It is really grab bag what you put in there though. Most People do Rifles/TKM or Rifles/Swords. Personally i have a been Master Carbineer Master Swordsman + 4440 Fencer for a long time and it has yet to let me down.
As far as PvE effectiveness, i don't really think Swordsman has an equal, carbines also have a huge potential if used correctly although situations for that potential are few and far between. PvP is a little different though. I find carbineer to be invaluable in group encounters, you can have most non stacked opponents stunned, diizy'd blinded and intimidated within about 5-10 seconds of a battle starting. You can even KD most huge threats right away (think CM's most of them don't have room for a decent KD defence stack, without thak, you can floor them easily) While in smaller 1v1 style encounters carbines have trouble doing enough damage to take your opponent down before they can take you down, so i would be expecting to deal with your Power Hammer more in that type of situation.

Damn, thanks for all the help wilibus . Alot of good infomation there, i was thinking about doing that template but was not sure. But now im sure and thats what im aiming for. =) thanks man

just wanted to point out, for pve commando > swordsman....problem are the lootrights 
(flamedot damage does not count for lootrights).
(flamedot damage does not count for lootrights).My mate did fencer/carbs and msw/carbs and he liked the fencer combo much better...but that's his oppinion
