I'm trying to consider keeping Carbineer, but I don't know if I want to keep a tree, I got enough skill points to go up one tree in Carbineer but I can't figure out which one is the best one to go up in, which one would you consider is the best tree in Carbineer without mastering it.

Depending on what you need it for, where your interests lie and what other skills you have any of the trees would be considered "the best" FAQ has a pretty detailed guide on choosing skill trees. Check it out, if you have any questions not covered there i am sure someone will have the info you are looking for.

I see, I just wanted personal opinions of what people consider they're favorite carbineer tree is. For example I like Crippling Shot, but I like Scatter 2 also.

The point wilibus is trying to make is that without knowing how you play or what you want to do or what the rest of your Skill Points are being used in....well, it is impossible to say just one tree. In fact unless you have BH Carbs then taking just one tree in Carbineer is quite a waste of time for most folks.

I'd hate to drop Carbineer, I love using carbines and when I was Master Carbineer, it was a really good elite profession. But yeah, I guess just having one tree isn't worth it in comparison.
I wanted a tree that would cause the most damage, or the attack that would cause the most damage, like Crippling Shot. That's what I mainly wanted.

Well CripplingShot isn't the highest DPS Special unless you are Speed Capped.....
LegShot3 is the best in solo play but with a group that isn't hitting Action with you, well then it sucks
FullAutoSingle2 at Novice is the best all-around DPS Special, hands down. But the problem with Carbineer dabbling is you need Speed and Accuracy, so really 2 trees are needed at the bare minimum.
