Hi,
I have been playing SWG for a while now on Radiant and got my Master Creature Handler status last night. I was thinking of possibly starting a new character on a new server, or ditching my pistoleer for TKA instead. I would like a bit of advice on where to start as a TKA....any suggestions/tips would be appreciated!

Seriously though, the first grind from novice brawler to Teras Kasi novice is crappy. Some people like to buy really fast VK's and do the lower damage at a faster pace to.
Don't be afraid to wear armor until you start doing specialsa lot, reduced damage can help out a lot early on.

Hiyas,
I'm master doctor and tryin' hard to master carbineer.
Lastnight I noticed I was running low on buff packs so I figured I'd better start working on carbineer to run missions and make my cash.
I buffed myself and got into a group.. took Mokk missions and headed out.
A guild mate had just given me a set of composite armor so I suited up fully with it.
1st mission went "okay". I killed the 2 Mokks and got away hehe. The next mission was as if I'd gone back to my 1st day playing. I died fast. I had drank 2 brandys but my mind drained fast and poof I was dead.
I rebuffed and went out with no armor on. I guess they hit me in the head cuz I went incap pretty quickly. For some reason they didn't DB though.. so I let my mind heal back up and a group member told me I should wear the helm. So I wore an Ubese Helmet.
Click click boom.. they were hitting me for 300-500 kin and hit me for 3355 with a special (I assume).
Needless to say I was cloning again right after.
Please... Gimme advice on where/what I should be hunting for xp in carbineer. As well as a path up the carb tree.
I'm surrently:
Master Doc and 2 1 2 1 Carbineer
Been using a laser carbine that's 339 max damage. I have an E11 (think its called that) but the damage is so much lower that I haven't tried it yet.
Thanks so much for any advice, I'd really really appreciate it.
Oh.. also.. I know this doesnt have anything to do with carbineer.. but What Do you Kill to get Avian Meat? And at my level of skill is there anything I can kill to obtain the meat?

Well leveling any profession quickly requires maximum XP per hour at whatever level you are currently at.....obviously you are taking too hard of missions. I am not sure what is easy out there with many critters getting their Special Attacks back, but I never used Comp to level, Ubese only because I would only level against Kinetic damage creatures.
Avian meat comes from birds, it varies on different planets.....most Master Doctors are well aware of the critters, go ask one.... 
And lastly, Read the FAQ

According to SWGCreatures.com there is no avian meat on Dantooine.

Okay,
So I'm hunting the wrong things. Kinda assumed that.. that's why I asked..
Wear Ubese not comp. Alrighty, thank you.
Avain meat comes from some kinda birds, it verys.. go ask a doctor. Okay.. gotcha thanks again.
Finally, read a FAQ. Wasn't aware there was a faq for these inquries. But thanks, I'll look around.

The STICKY posts, on this Forum at least, are quite informative and specific.
I like random spawns on Endor and Huurton/Quenker missions on Dant.....Rav Tortons on Rori are fun too, I have killed thousands

Pikets on Dantooine give a nice XP bounce to you. There's also a food out there that gives you an extra $% XP for non-crafting XP.

I couldn't tell you what drops Avian meat on Dantooine. There are no bird mobs there, so its embedded in something else. I will say that Voritor Dashers drop avian bones, so you can try a few various types of voritors to see if avian meatis in there somewhere.

hunt pickets (laser for demales, dxr6 or E33 for males)
or savage quenckers (they might stay in range sometimes) on dantooine.
mokks hit harder than jantas, try jantas if you're there for cash too

Now I wanna move onto Dath where the big boys play and i'm wondering should I go for MSabers straight off or go get some healing first.
My style of play is not running missions just flying out to the middle of nowhere and doing wild spawns. It's taken me since Oct to get this far I'm not a grinder and enjoy my role immensly.
So healer or MSaber? Or any other ideas would be welcome.

Oh my other skills are meditate tree in tk and a master melee prof.
